There are also many other companies that need help planning big events that they have going on. This could be a museum, a shopping center, an amusement park, historical venues, and even sports teams. If you look hard enough you can find openings in the event industry to get your foot in the door.
Last of all, you should look into event services. There is a lot that goes into planning an event. This could include rentals, flowers, stages, transportation, food, security, and much more. You can usually find an employer that has a position open to let you take part in some form of the event planning that is going on.
So if you're looking for a career in event industry make sure to be creative and to use online tools and sites to help you find a good match for your skill set and your aspirations. Also consider taking workshops or seminars or enrolling in colleges that offer certification for different areas of work in the industry.
